This RnineT Racer is a tribute to Steve McLaughlin #83, winner of the first Superbike Race in 1976. This race was hosted at the world famous Daytona Speedway with its infamous high bankings and long straights. Like it’s predecessor, the engine has been modified to produce over 120rwhp. This is a 27hp increase over it’s stock 93rwhp. This increase in HP was made possible with the San Jose BMW Big Bore Kit in conjunction with the in house San Jose BMW performance cylinder head porting and larger valves. We took what was a rather aggressive stock riding position and added the San Jose BMW Superbike Handle Bar Conversion kit, adding comfort while increasing the feel and feedback. This better than stock RnineT Racer #83 replica with its performance motor, Superbike handle bar conversion, handmade aluminum oil cooler shroud and stunning paint is a true nod to a historic day in BMW racing history.
